For a long time, qtext.io was known for one thing: simplicity. A clean, no-friction way to share text online. Just write, share, and you're done. No logins, no distractions.
Over time, something changed.
Our users started to ask for more. Not unnecessary complexity, but meaningful improvements:

As we listened to hundreds of pieces of feedback, it became clear that qtext.io had grown beyond just "quick text."
It was now a lightweight tool for sharing more than just text. People were using it for ideas, documents, links, images, and live collaboration.
So we gave it a new name to match its new purpose: kuick.io

qtext.io originally ran on a bare metal server. It worked well early on, but as our traffic grew past 70,000 monthly users and over 500,000 page views, the system started to hit its limits.
kuick.io is now powered by a modern serverless architecture. This means:
